A lovely house, but compared to others in Spring Lake very overpriced. The rooms are nice, and the balconies a plus, but the view is non existent. It's several blocks from the beach, and right next to the railroad. The breakfast was average at best. There are far better places to stay for less in Spring Lake, and for far more reasonable prices.

We highly recommend the White Lilac Inn for a relaxing getaway. My fiance and I needed some time away and this B&B had it all. Lovely furnishings, decor, flowers, grounds, location, lovingly prepared breakfasts. Aces all around. Don't hesitate, Mari will welcome you warmly .and suggest local "things to do" .. We will go back, and make it a tradition.

Great place for a getaway... the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was spacious and comfortable... great bed! My wife and I would gladly go back.

We stayed in the Victorian Treasure suite at White Lilac Inn for a long sunny weekend in September. The suite is beautiful, with two ambiance fireplaces, a private 2nd floor porch, a jacuzzi tub for two, comfortable bed and plenty of romantic charm. We took complete advantage of the optional (at no extra charge) room service breakfast offered to Suite guests at a very civilized 9:45 AM. The breakfasts were very good and varied each day.

Mari, the innkeeper, is an excellent host and provided several personalized touches that made us feel welcome and special. She seemed to always be available but was never intrusive as we enjoyed our weekend getaway.

Spring Lake is a beautiful town centrally located along this stretch of the New Jersey Shore. It has a non-commercial boardwalk that is perfect for morning walks or riding the bikes provided to Inn guests. We had dinner at two of the many top notch restaurants within a short drive from the Inn.
