Overall a very enjoyable winery to visit. The people were more than friendly (allowed our well behaved lab to join us since it wasn't very busy at the time) and generally spoke about not just the winery, but the area as well. As for the wines I would have to say they offer some of the better reds in the area. The cabernet franc has been aging well and the semi-sweet reisling needs at least a year in bottle to get itself together, but once its there its reminiscent of certain semi-sweet Rhine wines. The Ithica Red is a great everyday wine (a little sweeter than some may like, but if dry is your game go for the quintessence.)
I highly recommend this winery.
