“Great place to eat with a short wait”

Arizona Grill

Apr 5, 2008

Just ate at Arizona Grill and had a great experience. The wait (at 7 pm on a Saturday night) was literally 2 minutes even though the parking lot was full. Greeted right away by the server. The service was great. The drinks were good. The food was wonderful and there was lots of it! Had to take half our food home. The look and feel of the place is very cool - like you're in Texas Roadhouse. You get to eat peanuts and throw them on the ground and you do get served hot bread with cinnamon butter after you order a la Texas Roadhouse. Overall a great experience and will be going back!

“Food Ok, Service Terrible!!”

Arizona Grill

Apr 4, 2008

Excited to see this place was finally opened. We stopped in to try it out last Sunday. I have never experienced such bad service. Our waiter never introduced himself to us or greeted us. He took forever to take our drink order. Brought our appetizers out with nothing to serve them on. Didn't feel he checked on us as often as he should have. He seemed much more interested in the other tables around us. Food was ok. But we won't be going back.

“Reminds me of Texas Roadhouse”

Decided to give this new place a try and when we walked in the door we thought we were at the Texas Roadhouse. Peanut shells on the floor and the same rustic feel. Only had to wait about 10 minutes on a Friday night. Service was just ok as we kept having to ask for things multiple times. They give you a small loaf of bread with cinnimon (sp?) butter which didn't knock my socks off like Texas Roadhouse which has way better bread/butter. Wife had the mesquite chicken salad which she thought was pretty good and I had the bbq ribs/chicken combo which was surprisingly tasty. They use Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce which I really like. The ribs were good size and falling off the bone tender. I got the side salad which was standard and the cheesy potatoes which were pretty decent. Prices were about average for a chain type restaurant. About $8 for the salad and $14 for the ribs/chicken combo.

Would probably go back in the future.

“Nothing new to offer”

We, group of 6, were looking forward to a new place & experience.
Well, another SPORTS BAR, as if we don't have enough already.
Clean looking, maybe, because it's new. Very uncomfortable chairs, wood hard, tables too narrow, had trouble placing our entrees on it . Fish Fries were very good, the fish was moist, not over cooked & breading was on the light side, however, I ordered a baked sweet potato as a side, too sweet, they had marshmellows topping it, I would have preferred plain so I could add butter, salt & pepper. The Smothered Chicken Breast was very good, the Steamed Veggie side, carrots & broccoli came cold. Their Steak & Cheese Sandwich was very good, lean beef with soft hoagie roll. Their Spareribs were not so good, hard to get of the bone & dried out some, sauce was okay. Fries came cold. Ordered a Porterhouse Steak medium rare, came well done, 2nd one just made it to medium, so left it be, however, it was tough, nothing like a true Black Angus Steak. The Baked Potato was just luke warm. The prices are reasonable. The service was fair. Wouldn't go again. Cold atmosphere.

“Its Ok”

I would reccomend this restuarant if you don't want a huge wait, like to throw peanut shells on the floor, and want to drink alcohol for cheap. Their long islands are only $5.50 and they pack a punch, same goes for their martinis. The menu is limited but everyone should be able to find something. I like this place for an after work meal and drinks. BE CAREFUL you will scrape your hands on the walls!
