A wonderful time was had by all in the family during our recent visit to the hotel. This was our second visit and we enjoed it even more than the first one. This time we made it a point to "get involved" with the staff and take classes on weaving, lei making, sand art, how to cut a pinneapple, hula dance etc. Every experience was just great and we loved the interaction time and the personal level that the staff shared with us about their lives. The hotel is truly the MOST Hawaiian in how they treat you like Ohana (family). The room was great as well as the nighlty shows. Although we don't know how long before our next visit, we will be dreaming of it daily! Aloha!

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not fantastic, but were very clean and the view from our's was beautiful. The outdoor spaces were very nice and much more open and less crowded than other places down the beach. The KBH was very relaxing and it was nice to have a free show every night in the courtyard. The little extras like the welcome breakfast, Hawaiian classes, and excedllent beach location, would bring us back to this location again and again!!

My wife and two teens just got back from a visit to KBH from 7/20 to 7/25, we made the trip to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday since she takes hula classes back home i decided to visit the KBH, and we were not dissapointed, first and most important the staff is extremely friendly and we felt very welcomed, not just like a room number but as guest, and malihini made it even more special, we stayed at the molokai wing room 111, and as some other reviews mention it does look a little old but very well mantained it is not a problem at all, also we had a blast at the hula class, the hula show at the tiki terrace and the lei making, we would definitely come back to the KBH, we already miss it !!!

The beach of course is beautiful outside the hotel, the grounds were nicely kept but I think most all of the hotels in Hawaii are. The employees were very friendly but my goodness they need to renovate that thing. Just seems dirty and old. My husband and I cant figure out why its the #6 pick on the Lahaina Hotel list.
