“Nice Locale for a Cold One”

Located at the beach-end of GG Park, The Park Chalet is the garden-café type restaurant located downstairs with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Beach Chalet is located upstairs, inside, with views of brewing kettles and the roaring Pacific.

As a tourist from New England we loved the Park Chalet with the ability to eat outdoors with a shade covering, sip craft beers and watch all the goings on. We were told the wait was 30 minutes, but were seated in only a few minutes. The food is not cheap, but expected for its location. The menu is not big, but has the standard burger. There was a great beer selection brewed on premises and I wish we could have stayed and tried them all.

A nice spot to dine and drink with a beachy atmosphere.

“On a Sunday afternoon...”

On a Sunday afternoon, go check out the live music and lounge in the sun. Just be ready for your burger to take an HOUR to arrive. (Luckily, after an hour, it tastes like heaven.)

Yep, nice atmosphere and decent food though it is not "cheap". Looks like a place where yuppies and oh-so-cool people hang for brunch.
