The food at Fig is delicious and very subtle. Staff is excellent and very accommodating. With only four days in Asheville, we chose to come back here for a second visit.

Enjoyed this restaurant very much. Service was excellent. Our meals were delicious. We selected dinners from the specials for the day....lamb loin and veal tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection. The soup of the day we picked was a cold soup.blend of cucumber, cantelope, and watermelon. The latter were pured. The crab was excellent, served as mound of crabmeat in the middle of the soup with cucumber on top. The server was very attentive. Definitely make reservations because the place is small but not so crowded you can hear everyone's conversation. There are also outdoor seating on a patio. The dessert are a bit pricey. We chose to share the chocolate one served in a demi tasse cup...like a mousse, but had a different name.
French with a twist, Pricy but worth it
As locals this is one of our favorites in the Asheville area. It is a bit of a splurge but we have always found it to be consistently great quality and service. We like the fact that the menu changes seasonally.
One of the best I've ever had, and I've had em all over the world. Seriously. this place is extraordinary, in a city known for great restaurants.
