Very nice hotel. Check in was very fast and efficient. I was offered a two queen room, but asked for a king and the clerk cheerfully fulfilled my request. I booked the room on Priceline, but didn't get the "Priceline Treatment" you sometimes get at other hotels. Room service was pretty good. Loved the French Onion Soup. :-) The location is great with easy access to the Hynes Center, shopping, and restaurants.

I stayed here for one night during a business trip. Check in was a breeze and the room was great. Super clean and comfortable. The bed and linens were amazing. Food was good, Room service was on-time and staff were friendly.

The only downside was that I would have liked a 3pm checkout since I arrived at midlight the night before and had a 7pm flight that next day. They would only give me a 1pm check out. It would have been nice to have the room a little bit linger to nap in. Many hotels will give a 3pm check out if you ask for it.

Recently had a three night stay at the Marriott Copley Place and had a good experience. The beds were comfy, the hotel (both my room and the common areas) was very clean and the hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance to shopping on Newbury St. and restaurants the next street over (don't remember the name of the street). The hotel is right across from a supermarket, which is super convenient if you've forgotten something (toiletries) or want a quick and inexpensive lunch on the go (they have a hot food counter and salad bar).

Only somewhat negative thing (definitely not a big deal), the lobby is a bit dated - it's not horrendous or worn by any means, but the place would be much nicer with a more modern look. I would definitely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Marriott in the beginning on December 2007. We booked the room through Hotelopia and got a killer rate.

The Marriott is without a doubt one of the best hotels in Boston. It's huge but it doesn't feel like a big hotel. The elevators are never crowded and the staff is very friendly.

We had a room on the 10th floor with a great view of the Back Bay area. The room was spacious (compared to other US hotels) and the bathroom was equipped with a large tub.

The hotel is located within the Copley Place shopping centre and it's a shoppers dream. The Back Bay area is packed with bars and restaurants, for example on Newbury Street and the rest of downtown Boston is within walking distance, or a few minutes ride on the T.

I would recomend this hotel to anyone going to Boston.
