“Dont stay anywhere else. Great with young children”

This is an excellent hotel. I stayed here last Oct 07 with a 22 month old and a 5 month old. The room facilities are great with small kids. I had a travel cot in main bedroom and travel cot in sitting room, so babies didnt wake each other up. There was still masses of room even with 2 travel cots and prams and everything that goes with it. I seriously cant recommend this hotel enough. We left this hotel as arranged on day 3 of trip to move onto the Sheraton in Framingham, what a disappointment as soon as we arrived we rang Doubletree and begged for a room for the rest of our 10 day stay, they accommodated us no problem. Did I already say I cant recommend this place enough!. Seriously dont bother with anywhere else. Ok so its a little outside of Boston Centre but they have a shuttle going regular to anywhere you could want to go. Stay here you wont be disappointed.

“Nice Place To Stay”

My family and I traveled to Boston as I was donating a kidney to someone. We stayed at this property for 10 days. Check in was easy, the suite was nice and clean with a great view of the Charles River. Staff for the most part were great. Room service food was great, but they should bring dinner rolls with entree's in my opinion. The lounge was nice as well. Although we did not use it, they have a very nice indoor pool area. I did have a major problem during checkout regarding a credit card authorization. They charged my debit card as opposed to the card on the auth form. The front desk manager at the time was not very helpful with what was a hotel mistake. The front office manager did call back the next day and was very nice. This hotel is a great place to stay, clean and comfortable. I will stay here when in Boston next month.

“Very nice hotel; a bit off the beaten track”

The hotel is wonderful - clean with spacious rooms. Many people write about the location, but I found it no so bad. There is a bus right across the bridge that will take you to the Central Square T station. I think three or four bus lines stop there and the ride to the T is about 5 minutes. The red line to the Back Bay area is then no more than 15 minutes. Given the price and amenities, this is a great deal. There is also a Whole Foods located right across the bridge, which is nice for an extended stay since there are refrigerators and microwaves in the suites.

“I LOVE this hotel and will stay there again”

The Doubletree on Soldiers Field Rd is the perfect place for families. The stylish king suite is spacious and very clean. It can be a little tricky finding the entrance to the hotel. The restaurant was a little pricey, but has excellent views of the Charles River. This location has all the amenities and employees were very helpful.

Friday night stay, king bed non smoking, was on 16 of 16 floors with high sided balcony overlooking river and skyline (H-Honors member). Spacious standard chain room. Balcony was fun and helpful as Mars was very visible and got some great shots. Hotel has Jazz bar onsite and bar and food. Location is not the best but there is a free shuttle with scheduled pickups from Harvard station and drop off locations to Quincy Market, Copley, and 2 others. Cabs are very expensive and not recommended. I took the subway to Harvard and got picked up from there. Shuttle drivers seem flexible to drop off anywhere along the standard drop off route. This was the high point, the shuttle due to the northeast location. Get a free cookie for checking in :) Water pressure and noise were no issue. Hotel is recommended if the location is not offputting to you.
