Our first night was in one of their buildings with outdoor corridors. These rooms have large gaps under the doors and are right off the parking lot. All the noise of honking horns, noisy neighbors coming home from the bars at 2:30 am, people yelling from building to building come right into the rooms through thin walls and under those door gaps! Management was willing to move us to their "much nicer rooms" in their back building for our last two nights, but we never did receive an apology or a check-in on how our other nights went. Back building has interior corridors and we were promised a quieter stay (another guest told us that construction workers frequent this hotel and do have a tendancy to party all night, so this wasn't just a one night occurance). Room in back building was a bit nicer, but windows were still extremely moldy. Neither room had good ventillation and rooms were damp for hours after showering. Second night was better, but last night was horrible again. Next door neighbors were up all night, shouting. Desk clerk did come up at 1:30 am to check on noise, but it continued through night, at least until we checked out at 6:00 am. Much nicer hotels are available on Hotel Circle! We would have moved if we hadn't been locked into Days Hotel by booking through travel company. Elevator permits were expired!! Good features included: nice size pool, nice hot tub - both comfortable even in cold winter months.

We wanted a place to stay for a quick overnight in San Diego. We werent looking for anything special since we were only going to be in the room to just sleep and shower. I read the reviews and decided that this hotel sounded perfect. It was. Close to the attractions and inexpensive. When we checked in, we got a call about 10 mins later from the office wanting to know if everything was ok. It was. We noticed that we needed more towels and called down to the front to get some sent to the room. They came quickly. Again, about 10 mins later another call to make sure we got the towels. We chose a room on the third floor about halfway back so it was fairly quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay inexpensive. It was clean and quiet and close.

This hotel was simply just "okay" for the price. We booked on getawaytoday, for a San Diego family trip, and we knew it would be no frills. There were nine of us total, and we had two rooms. One room had a terrible musty smell that we tried to mask with Lysol spray. That helped for a few minutes at a time. The other room had ants crawling all over the bathroom sink area. Basically, the rooms were clean, the bedding was clean and crisp, and the beds were fairly comfortable. There is a small convience store within walking distance that helped out with treats and drinks. There is also a restaurant on the property called Pan Pan. We ate an excellent breakfast there. We were in a hurry and the waitress was right there to help us get out the door on time. We used the hotel shuttle service to take us to SeaWorld, and pick us up, and that is definitely the way to go. The girl at the front desk was VERY professional and helpful and had great customer service skills. In fact, her great personality would be about the only reason I'd book again at this hotel. It was just a little bit too much on the borderline of being awful.

After staying for a week in Anaheim at a hotel that charged for internet usage, we were thrilled to find that the Days Inn Hotel Circle provided free internet and printing in their lobby. The restaurant on site - Pam Pam - provided us with very good service and the food was so good that we ate there every day (we stayed from Dec 3 - Dec 7, 2007)! We requested for a room upgrade (the room in the older part of the hotel smelt moldy) and were happy with our room in the newer building. The shuttle bus driver, Gerald or Jared (not sure which is correct...pardon my hearing), was friendly and gave the passengers helpful hints about places we were visiting. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Front desk staff could be friendlier though.
