The pool is dirty, the hottub is broken, the gym is old and dirty. It seems they are going tor high volume and low quality. I actually had the staff say no to 2 requests. One for a luggage cart and another for information. This hotel needs a renovation and new staff. We love embassy suites and they are our first choice on trips, but some are stellar and some do not deserve the name.

We stayed at the Embassy Little Rock on the return trip from Michigan to Texas for the space when traveling with three kids. I found the hotel front desk staff rude and very unhelpful with any questions I had. The room was typical of an Embassy Suites with the living room and bedroom; however the sheets and blankets on the beds reminded me of a hospital. The beds were cheap, nothing comfortable about them at all. The kids slept on the pullout bed in the living room which was nice. The room was clean, just needs to be remodeled especially the tile in the bathroom and the shower. TV in the main bedroom needed to be replaced. I attempted to watch the Patriots/NY game and found all the players were blue like Smurfs. Time for a TV upgrade.
The Complementary Managers Reception the Embassy Suites is known for is LACKING in Little Rock. Due to AR state liquor laws they can not serve free alcohol, so all drinks are $1, still a good deal but I really didn't want to pay. The snacks consisted of chips, salsa, and goldfish, kind of sad if you ask me. We went over to the sports bar for dinner and it was terrible! I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had a burger. Both tasted as if they were just thawed from Sams Club. The wait staff defiantly did not want to be there as they did not smile the whole night and were rude.
On the plus side the breakfast was very good. The whole spread and our family of five went to town! On my next trip I think I am going to try the Embassy Suites in Hot Springs, only a few more miles down the road. Bottom line is if you want space stay, if you don't need the space, stay at the Hilton down the road that was just remodeled. Embassy Little Rock is nothing to write home about.

Location is not the greatest. Can't walk anywhere-too far. No airport shuttle. Breakfast buffet staff are NOT pleasant at all. They are not mean, they just ...aren't anything! No smiles; no thank you; no, have a nice day! Bar drinks are way overpriced.
The rooms are a little worn for Embassy Suites usual decor'. Bathtub needs relplacing, again, when considering this is not
Motel 8. The in room TVinternet ( where one uses the keyboard in the room) did not work

The plus side? Great gift shop! loads of banquet and conference rooms! Bar/lounge a great atmosphere. Fun people. The bedding is soft and comfy. Towels are great and plentiful! Smoking room that didn't smell bad. Huge bathroom. Not too noisy-children where there in the hotel but I never heard them when in my room. Starbucks across the side street!

DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT go to the KOBE JAPANESE restaurant
in the plaza across the side street!!! Please stay away! I have been to too many Hibachi style restaurants to know when one is bad. This one is bad! The food was not fully cooked, even for a "rare" person such as myself. No seasoning was used. The food tasted bland.
