We have a disabled son and Shorewalk Vacation Villas was the most helpful and courteous resort we have aver experienced. The staff are all friendly and polite and will do anything to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, the whole atmosphere is very relaxing, there are beautiful pools, jaccuzis, facilities for open air cooking , tennis courts, lakes with fish and the condos are spacious, cool and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We cannot even think of going anywhere else and will always return to Shorewalk for our vacations.

My wife and I five years ago stayed here on a 2nd honeymoon and decided to go back for a 3rd honeymoon with the kids this time. I must admit that the place has come a long way since 2000. We were placed in one unit only to notice it was not updated. We asked for a different room and it looked much nicer and we took it. When we travel we always make a point to notice if the room is clean or not. This was very clean. No complaints unlike some others we have read on this page. Ffrom what we heard is some of the rooms are not as updated as others are. Some have older carpets, appliances, floors which make them to appear "dirty". My wife and I talked to the housekeeping and I thanked for the cleanliness of the room. The staff was great. We will be back again soon.

Surfed the internet to find a family-friendly place to stay where everyone could come together and be comfortable. Settled on Shorewalk based on other traveler reviews and it turned out great. The apartment we had was clean and comfortable -- not an upscale granite countertop type of place, but somewhere you could walk in after a day at the beach, cook a meal together, sit on the screened porch with a glass of wine, walk around the grounds when the sun started to go down, borrow books at the club house or play a game. Our particular unit didn't have the homey touches you usually find at condo's owners actually spend time in, but it had a nice lay out and all the things needed to be cozy and comfortable.

We booked with UK owner and found condo very well presented (we have been to Florida 7 times). Shorewalk is very well located for Sarasota,Tampa and beaches. We stayed for 3 weeks and are going again this year with the same owner but in ground floor condo which is easier for us and our disabled son. The pools are very good. Its very good value.
