Very easy to find from the Ben Franklin Bridge. Park your car and walk to everything: Independence Hall (2 blocks), Betsy Ross House (around the corner), South Street (8 blocks), and a great italian restaurant on Market Street (4 blocks). The Omni is just around the corner, but why pay more?
Front desk staff were friendly, and helpful. There were a few groups checking in (for the Penn Relays) but the staff kept things moving. In fact, every time we passed through the lobby there was a different track team checking in. Everyone was excited to be there. When we checked in, we were "upgraded" to the 8th floor, but even better, our rate dropped by $8 (for whatever reason???) (AAA and Priority Club, for $191/night)
Beds were comfortable w/3 choices of pillows. Our room appeared to be recently renovated with updated bed linens (very nice). Room size was fine. Not huge, but we didn't spend too much time there. There is so much to see in this historic area. Our room was very quiet. We were surprised to learn 3 kids were staying next door, but we never heard them. Nice!
Recommendation: Skip the hotel rate that includes breakfast. The restaurant was crowded and things seemed confusing b/c they were short on staff. Better choice: make coffee in your room and choose from one of the small shops in the area.
