The Hampton Inn n Race Street in Philly is ok. We are a family of four, two adults and two kids and shared one room with two double beds. The hotel is clean and the room as well. The hotel is nicely located next to the Convention Center and walking distance about .6 mile to the sites(liberty bell, etc...). The hotel has a small pool(you can do about three laps across it) and a hot tub. The pool area was messy and towels and cups left on the tables, However, when I called the front desk they were polite and sent someone right away to clean the area. The free breakfast the next day was fair. Alot of cold items, cereals, pastries, yogurts and such, the hot food was poor. The eggs were processed looking and not very appetizing. But for a free breakfast, it did the trick. The staff were polite and overall helpful. The parking is close and is 24 hr with a minimum charge for additional hours. Overall, a good experience but would have liked more room next time.
