We are on the second night of a three night stay at the Super 8
Gettysburg. We tried to book the Days Inn where our grown son
stayed on his first visit here but could not get three nights there. We came with our son on his second trip to Gettysburg and he liked this location. Check in was easy, room with two queen beds is large and clean. Room cleaning was not until after 3:30 and even later for clean towels as "they are not up from downstairs". We are on the second floor in room 205. We did hear a manager go out of his way to help a couple with a mixed-up booking from the 800# and while no rooms were available here, he was going to see that they had accomodations after driving from Baltimore. Location was good, breakfast was "light" (coffee, orange juice, mini-muffins, pastry, & 2 cereals) but fine; however, a closed INDOOR pool I agree is cheap, even for a budget hotel. Have never stayed in a Super 8 before & probably won't again - no fridge in rooms - but for clean hotel with good location at price we paid it serves our purpose THIS time!
