I see all the negative reviews below and had to post. I see this as a fun place to sit outside with a great view, right on the water. You can arrive in your boat wearing a bathing suit and sit outside. All the animals and stuff on the walls also creates a fun ambiance indoors. The food I've had was very good. We've never had any issues with the service.

Most negative posts seem to think this is a "fine dining establishment". I guess if you went with that expectation you might be disappointed.

This place is fun because of the location and view. Food is decent. Parking is very poor, and it is usually very crowded. If you want fun, give it a try. If you want fine dining, I guess you should stay away (per others).

My sister in law made reservations for 18 people on July 1, 2007 for her mother and fathers (my mother and father in law)40th wedding anniversary. The whole family minus two people who were late, were in the reserved room enjoying the party when the manager of the restaurant BARGED in and and aggressively grabbed the (fragile) anniversary cake that belonged to my in laws! She was moving it to clear a table for OTHER people!! She claimed that since two of the people in out party were late, it voided our reservation of the room!! She was EXREMELY RUDE and she made a HUGE scene! It was SO embarrassing we will NEVER go there again! That manager has NO consideration for others and NO manners! I also feel the manager is a liar for trying to put OTHER people in the room we paid for.
This restaurant is a BAD place DO NOT GO!

I read the reviews but had to experience ourselves. we had boudoin, rainbow trout, and grouper fish basket. The boudoin was definitely not cajun and not worth eating. The hush puppies were hard. The fish was actually pretty good but not good enough to bring us back.

I don't think we be visiting Clark's again.

My daughter and family live in Jax and when we go over from the Uk we always make a trip to Clarks, and always enjoy the food and the surroundings.
