This hotel is just not very comfortable. Our room was very noisy, both street noise and people in the hall; the walls seemed to be super thin. Room was much smaller than other Hilton Garden Inns where we have stayed. Asked for a room with a good view and got a view of the ratty Quality Inn across Bay Street! As noted by another poster, the carpet was very dirty - looked clean, but the soles of my socks were black after just a few trips across the carpet. We paid $15.00 a day for valet parking, but our car stayed on the street from 2pm until 10pm the day we checked in! Finally had to ask them to move it to the garage. Breakfast not very good, but a fair variety of items. Overall, just not a very good HGI, you can do better in Savannah for the same money.

Our first time in Savannah. This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. Easy walking distance to every place we wanted to go. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were all great. I definately would stay here again.

What a beautiful hotel and city.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon last year in late October/into November and were very pleased. We got a pretty good rate on the hilton.com website by pre-booking....a little risky since if anything happens and you can't go, you don't get a refund since the rate is discounted-but we figured the rate was too good to pass up so we took a chance.

Upon our arrival our room wasn't quite ready yet, but we were a bit early. We waited in the very nice hotel lobby until we were able to go upstairs to our suite. The room we had reserved was very clean and spacious. We were very pleased with the very very friendly hotel staff and our overall stay at this hotel. We would definitely stay again.

My friend and I went on a long "girlfriends weekend," and it worked very well. Location is good. Close to City Market and River Street. If I could find a similar deal a couple of blocks closer to the center of River Street next time, I'd take it, but saying that, this hotel was fine.
The hotel room was a suite with one queen bed in one "room," and a exceptionally comfortable pullout sofa in the other, so no complaints there.
Breakfast at the restaurant was fine, though overpriced. Go to Clary's instead.
The staff was accomodating and friendly, a trait I found amongst every Savannahian(?) I met.
Don't hesitate to stay here if you find the right deal, and be sure to get a room with a balcony! We're from NY, so tha Bay St noise didn't bother us, haha!
