“What a great place to stay!”

Iberville Suites

4 of 5 stars

My wife and I took a 2 day trip to New Orleans and booked a room at the Iberville Suites based on the reviews here. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was just the right size in my opinion. The bathroom was just a tad on the small size compared to other hotels we have stayed at but it wasn't enough to raise an eyebrow to. Like some others, the one thing that did seem awkward was taking an elevator to the lobby and then having to switch to another to go to your room - a minor inconvenience, if any.

The hotel staff was super friendly and very accomodating, and the breakfast was plentiful- more than enough to fill even the biggest belly before a day on the town.

If you intend to spend a great deal of time in the French Quarter, this is the hotel for you. just a block over from Bourbon Street and not any of the noise or racket from the all-night parties. When to visit the big easy again, the Iberville will be on my short list of hotels.

“Warm, wonderful, world-class service”

After poring over reviews for hotels in the French Quarter, we reserved at Iberville Suites - and prayed we'd made a good choice... turns out, we chose very wisely.. it was incredible!! The location is great.. and, the hotel is owned and run by Ritz Carlton, in the same building as the Ritz (along with a third, a super-upscale hotel called Maison Orleans.) The rooms, the lobbies, even the complementary breakfasts were wonderful..crisp, clean and very caring people. (They even sent up an iced bottle of champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary.) And, all of the Ritz Carlton facilities are there for Iberville guests... lush & luscious! The most amazing thing that happened: I had to make a drug store run late at night and - the nearest open drug store was a mile or two away.. they asked if I had a car (we didn't rent one,) and then offered to drive me there (which they did, in a sleek high-end black Mercedes! Talk about above and beyond.) If you're looking for a great place where you're 100% taken care of, this is your hotel!

“Could not have been more pleased....”

After relying on Trip Advisor (once again) we booked a 4-day stay at Iberville Suites and could not have been more pleased, The location is perfect - 1 block from Bourbon Street and all the action - but the QUIETEST hotel we have ever stayed in! All of the employees we came in contact with were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine - but of course one day you'll want to go to Cafe Dumond for those amazing beignets. The rooms are very, very clean and it truly is a suite - separate sitting area, 2 TVs, etc. We would most definitely return.

I had high expectation but the hotel turns out to be just OK. The staff were very nice. The room is showing its age and not 100% clean. Valet parking is $32 a day and internet is $12.95 a day. The latter particularly bothers me as most hotels we stayed in while driving cross country offer complementary high speed internet. Iberville Suites is located at the edge of the French Quarters so it's a little bit of a walk to, say, Cafe du Mode but Bourbon Street is just a block away and the Charles Street streetcar stop is also nearby.

“Huge room and great location”

Iberville Suites

We spent march 27-30 at the Iberville Suites. This was our 5th time to New Orleans and I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Last visit we stayed at the Royal Sonesta, which I would also recommend.

The location is within easy walking to bourbon st., the riverfront, harrahs casino, trolley cars stops, the market and many great restaurants, bars, and entertainment.

The rooms were very large, clean and nicely decorated. It was nice having an ironing board, refrigerator and coffee maker, as well, as breakfast in the lobby every morning which consisted of waffles, muffins, donuts, cereal, breakfast bars, juice, coffee, etc.

I would highly recommend the segway city tour, cajun pride swamp tour, riverboat cruise and a garden district/cemetary tour . . .all are very fun.

We have eaten many places and this trip really enjoyed Star Steak and Lobster next to the House of blues. We got a coupon on restaurant.com for $50 off if you spend over $100 which was great.

I can't wait to go back!
