Stayed here to celebrate my husband's birthday during the week--between Jazz Fest weekends. We were received warmly by the doorman when we arrived, and had a quick, friendly check-in. Lobby was very well appointed. Our room was spacious and very clean. I liked that there was a separate sitting room with a comfortable couch, desk, TV, refrigerator and wet bar. Always nice to have a place to store your water and snacks when traveling. Bed was comfortable, and we had lots of fluffy pillows. Bathroom was nice--marble tile, marble vanity. But pretty basic tub and shower. Not big, but not ridiculously tiny either. Has programmable quiet AC/Heat unit (not cheap window units you would expect from a hotel in this price point). Got a room service snack in less than 15 minutes. Location was great! Just a block from Acme Oyster House, and a couple of short blocks to Bourbon. Staff was very helpful with various informational requests. We did not hear any noise from our room. We were able to sleep well (when we finally made it back to the room). There are no balconies, and there is no view to speak of. Our room overlooked the roof of another hotel. But the view wasn't our objective. We wanted a "nice" hotel that was in the Quarter, but was quiet when we wanted to sleep. It was very nice that the hotel is connected (literally) to the Ritz. Iberville guests use the same business center as the Ritz. Room service is from the Ritz. But room prices are MUCH lower. Very satisfied with my stay, and would definitely recommend.
