The Good: I liked the hotel overall. The staff was overly accomodating and the light display on the front of the hotel is nearly awe inspiring. If you see the pic on the front page of this review of the hotel - that's exactly what it looks like. The lights change also - and honestly, it's very cool to watch as you drift off to sleep. Plus - there's a nice pastry selection in the morning/early afternoon. And - if you need something you don't have - there is a convienent store just outside the property. The parking is valet and only $25 per day with unlimited use. Incase you're wondering - a lot of garages will charge you that just to park. Plus - the trolley line runs right by the hotel. Very handy.
The Bad: the room was small. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in several spots and the room was a little dirty. We changed our hotel to this one because we found Le Cirque for the same price as another one - the other was a 2 star and (I won't name it) but all of the reviews were 'little more than a bed and a roof' etc on the other place... Priceline had this (Le Cirque) listed as a 3 star. Yeah - not so much. Close. If you go by the hotel, the outside, the lobby and the staff - 4 star. The rooms however were one and half star. There was little room for more than the two beds and TV. It was cramped and the closet was smaller than any closet I'd ever seen. We did have an in room iron and ironing board and hair dryer but neither the hairdryer nor the iron worked.
If pressed, I'd stay again - it wasn't a bad experience by any means and the staff goes way above and beyond and the light display itself is worth staying for - but don't go expecting a 4 or 5 star expereince.
