A group of us were booking a stay for a wedding we were attending. I'm not sure who was told that this B&B was a good place to stay. Because it was Jazz Fest weekend, we had to book early and we had to cancel before 30 days prior to our stay, otherwise we would forfeit our deposit. The plan was to have the rehearsal dinner at the B&B but with only 3 weeks before the wedding, the managers of the B&B decided they didn't want "any cooking" to take place. So, all of us out-of-town wedding guests were stuck staying at this supposed B&B even though they refused to allow a rehearsal dinner there (because it was less than 30 days away). Thanks for the warning Mr. Managers. Next, we arrive to check in and the manager's are no where to be found. No one answers the door or the main phone number. Finally, one of the managers arrived back after running errands and checked us in. He was stoned. We could barely understand anything he said. He gave us our room key and told us to wait while he took our other friend on the B&B tour and to show him his room. When the manager finally showed our friend his room, it was dirty. There was food crumbs or something all over the floor, and the bed looked like someone just got out of it. Needless to say, our friends went out and found another hotel to stay at. We, on the other hand, decided to stick it out. Not sure why. 1) When we finally found our room, we unlocked the door and about fell down 3+ feet because immediately upon entering the room, there are steps. 2) Then, we turn the lights on and there is a TV in the middle of our bed. Some other friends of ours told us that the TV was originally in their closet and had been moved. 3) As if that was not bad enough, when it came time to go to bed, we encountered tiny bugs in our bed. UGGGGHHHH!!!! 4) There were no curtains so the outside hallway lights lit up our room like it was daylight. Lots of luck sleeping with that. 5) We ran out of toilet paper the second day and after calling the office twice, we had to go down the block to the Walgreens and buy our own. 6) The bed was as hard as a rock. 7) It was hot!!! The AC control was in our room, but when we turned it down enough to say we were comfortable, we ended up freezing our neighbors. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and we did not pay. We got absolutely no sleep the entire time we were there. It was the most miserable trip I have ever been on. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! IT IS A HELL-HOLE.
