“Fabulous B & B, great location”

This is my new vacation spot. New Orleans is a wonderful city. Warm, friendly people. Great food. Best outdoor music festival in the world (Montreaux is nice but the people make this one the best)

This is a great place to stay!!!!! The rooms are beautiful, roomy and get lots of light. Can also get dark if you need to rest. The common area is lovely and relaxing, beautiful gardens, on-site management make it a great place to stay when you visit New Orleans. The manager knows the city very well and is more than helpful. Cooks a mean breakfast on the weekends (banana pacakes and pecan french toast!)

I will stay here again and again.

Free wifi and long distance make it a better bargain than any where else I have stayed. Ambassador and W are nice but pricey! This is a great deal!!!!

It is one block from St. Charles and the trolley just did a practice run today. It is within walking distance from Magazine Street (antique stores, restaurants, etc.) and the French Quarter is also only a couple miles away. A nice walk, especially if you are eating good - and you should eat good when you come, forget the diet!

A beautiful and historic hideaway. Almost don't want the word to get out in case I can't get a room when i come down.

I stayed here for a week in January 2007 and had a wonderful stay. My room was great, lots of natural light and very comfortable. WIFI was easy to access, which was important for me b/c I was traveling for work. Sherrie prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. Lots of restaurants nearby - especially liked Mr. John's Steakhouse. I would highly recommend staying here!

We just had to write a review the Henry Howard House Inn. Since the hurricane, the city needs tourists so badly, so we thought we'd go in for a weekend trip. This place actually had their grand opening 2 weeks before Katrina!! A friend who had done some work there recommended it to us, and we are so grateful. It has beautiful antique furnishings, really comfortable beds, free WI-Fi, flat panel TV's and cool local art in the rooms. And, the price was right at $99 a night. Sherrie, our hostess was great. We loved the eclectic, old-world feel of the place, and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Our balcony overlooked Prytania St., and the bathroom felt like a spa with a great soaking tub, those curved curtain rods and awesome robes! There was also a beautiful courtyard where my fiance and I shared some wine one night. Sherrie even served us a homemade breakfast in the parlor. Oh, and there is a little grocer across the street that serves lunch specials and poboys. The Inn is just a block off St. Charles Ave. and 2 blocks off Magazine St., which is one hip little area. Magazine St. has dining, antiques, bars, coffee shops, vintage clothing - you name it. There was so much to do there, that we didn't even go into the French Quarter. If you are planning a trip to New Orleans - I would highly recommend calling the Henry Howard House Inn! Worth every penny!
