My sisters and I flew in from different parts of the country to celebrate a 50th birthday. Our accomodations were fabulous, we loved the historic nature of the hotel and the attentive service. Via phone I requested flowers, gift basket, cheese and wine for arrival, we reserved two suites for the four of us, the concierge delivered and poured the wine and spent time describing the sites of the area as well as make suggestions for dinner. When a cab was unable to take us to our dinner reservations, he graciously drove us in the properties vehicle. We enjoyed breakfast, afternoon coffee and a wonderful nights sleep. If you are looking for a ultra chic, modern facility this is not the place for you, however, if you want to relax in a small, historic boutique hotel building you'll love the Sorrento; the bathroom was a little quirky, but the original tile, marble and tub were fabulous, the older antique furnishings were very comfortable and relaxing, the staff and service were some of the best. We've recommended the facility to many friends and family and will definitely stay at the Sorrento whenever in the area.
