Just returned from a 5 night stay here and it was a very pleasant stay. Staff was friendly, shuttle was a plus. Wasn't very crowded, maybe since it is January as was most places we visited wasn't crowded as well. Free parking can't be beat. Our room,(5th floor) was quite spacious and clean. Our view consisted of building construction and I-5 overpass, no biggie as we were gone most of the day. Good food less than 10 mins. walk away. Have to try Duke's clam chowder, the best! About the only minus is 2 nights I went downstairs to get of coffee and they were out. Also one morning during breakfast, they were out as well. Breakfast is so-so, basic.The breakfast room as well as the lobby is cosy . Family with children will be disappointed that there is no kids channel except PBS in the morning but other than that good selection of channels . All in all, you won't be dissapointed.

I have stayed at the Silver Cloud on several occasions and never had a single problem. I finally decided I should write a review. This is a great location if you want quick, easy access to downtown Seattle.
I did not have a car so I used the hotel shuttle service, which was excellent.
The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean and nicely done.
All in all, it is just a great hotel. I don't even bother looking at other hotels anymore.

We have stayed at the Silver Cloud - Lake Union a few times the last couple times and have had a great experience each time. The staff is always very professional and courteous. The rooms, the morning breakfast and shuttle service are all great and add to the whole package. I would highly recomend this hotel to everyone reading this.

The Silver Cloud Inn on Lake Union meets all expectations--excellent staff, nice breakfast, clean rooms, great shuttle service, secure parking, close to great restaurants/bars/busline, etc. A great place to stay. We stayed there for several nights while our home was being repainted. My son loved it and keeps asking when we are going back to live in the Silver Cloud!

We stayed here after a long flight home from LA.

Before the flight we stayed near the airport and just had an awful experience. So we decided to just go with what we know for the trip home. Yes, it was about a 20 minute drive from the airport, but at least we know what we are getting when we stay at any of the Silver Cloud Inn's. A clean comfortable room. With beds you can just sink right into. I love that the parking is gated, not that it's going to stop someone who is really bent on breaking into your car, but it was nice.

The 24 hour pool was great to come to, since our kids were just wired from the flight, and it was a great time to just go down there and let them relax.

We got up too late to enjoy the breakfast, but if it's anything like the other ones we have experienced at other Silver Cloud Inn's, I'm sure it is wonderful.

If you are looking a clean comfortable room with great customer service this is the place to go.

We will definitely stay here for our next trip to downtown Seattle.
