My family and I (2 kids ages 18 and 12) just spent two nights at Mas de Cure Bourse after a whirlwind week in London and Paris. This was just the respite we needed. The inn is down a bucolic lane. Iit sits on several acres with a beautiful pool, vegetable and herb gardens and nice patio. The food here is superb. The only down side I found was that there was very little english spoken. Neither of the receptionists I spoke with were able to give me directions which would have been helpful. All-in-all, however, our stay was great.

ServiceAn oasis tucked away on a quiet street. A beautiful 2-1/2 story Provencal country inn. Owner/manager husband and wife team are understandably quite proud of their hotel. It seemed that they would do anything to make the guests happy. Our room was typically European (smallish) but had oodles of charm and character. Everything was in working order and everything was spotless. You will be asked when making a reservation if you want a dinner reservation. You do! Their cuisine was of the best we tasted in Provence. Once a week during the summer, weather permitting, they open the large walled-in patio for dinner and this seemed to be the event of the town. The patio filled up with people from outside the hotel and it was a romantic, gastronomic feast to behold. Location is about 3 miles from the center of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, our favorite town in Provence. When I originally said "tucked away" I meant serene, sedate, peaceful and... Mapquest! Get good directions as it's off the beaten path, but oh, so worth the trip. We'll be back..... again and again and again.
