Was here for the March Merchandise Market. You can't be much closer, half a block. Upon arrival the "redcoats" made things easy, check in was a breeze and as a marriott member was "upgraded" to a junior suite. This was not a busy weekend.
We went out for dinner, the staff in the lobby told us to have a good time and then welcomed us home when we returned. Whoever did the customer service training at this hotel needs to go on tour and teach some others how it should be done.
This is not a new property, but was clean and comfortable, good amenities. Being picky, they need to upgrade the towels to larger and softer ones to match the bedding.
On my last day, I asked for a late checkout and it was immediately granted.
The Marriott in downtown Atlanta is my home when I go to market.
