Very helpful staff. Lovely room and very large, well stocked bathroom. Attached to Lennox Square. Lovely public areas.

Just stayed at the JW Marriott, Buckhead. Once we figured out how to get to the actual lobby to check in that process went well. We decided to self park for $17.00/night instaed of valet for $24.00/night. The parking garage is well lit and allows you to come and go more freely. When we got to our room 1016 it was very warm inside. Temp said it was 70. Not! We immed. dropped the room to 60(as low as it would go). It never felt cool enough. When we complained they sent up a maint. man who said that it was plenty cold enough and because it was near 100 degrees outside it probably would not get as cold as we would like it to. Great! We slept without any covers just to stay cool when we had a chance to sleep. We asked for a quiet room upon check in and that it wasn't. Pipes very noisy enough to wake you up as well as the slamming doors (BOOM!). So if you're looking for a relaxing hotel I would avoid the JW Marriott, Buckhead, however if you're looking for location in Buckhead you might want to consider sacrificing these issues. Priceline rate was $108.00.

Made reservations through Priceline. I had not used Priceline before but got a great deal. The family went to Atlanta to see the Braves and am glad we stayed in Buckhead. Stayed downtown before and felt uncomfortable walking at night. Buckhead is a upscale, safe neighborhood with many conveniences. JW Marriott went out of their way to assure our satisfaction. Rooms were small but nice. Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Rode MARTA during day/1.75 and called a cab home. Recommendation for cabs: Buckhead Safety Cab or Checker cabs. Don't use the white cabs. Had some iffy drivers.
Lots of places to eat and staff was accomodating enough to drive us anywhere within a two mile radius.
Will stay at JW Marriott again. Did I mention it was connected to the Lenox Mall! another reason to stay.

The Mariott hotel in Atlanta offers very good service and spacious and clean rooms. The food is excellent and it is even easy to reach with the MARTA, the train connecting the hotel easily with the airport.
