We spent 4 nights here at the end of March. We have stayed in many Intercontinentals throughtout the world and the existing reviews of the Atlanta property are accurate. We, too, stayed on the Club floor and the Club room facilities, breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktail snacks, etc are excellent value for money. Rooms are well equipped, beds superbly comfortable, staff genuinely helpful. You know this is a different place when a member of staff says "Welcome home" to you as your enter the hotel! And, yes, you do feel at home. Hotel 5mins walk from the Metro and is a safe area to walk in. Some decent restaurants in the vicinity and a good shopping mall. Hotel courtesy taxi service within 2 miles very handy. World of Coca Cola worth the visit, even for real grown up adults. It takes 2 hours and was very interesting. The downtown area isn't, however, very pleasant and has a slight uncomfortable feel to it. I've lived in London for over 30 years, and unlike many of my female friends, travel alone late at night on the tube and never feel afraid, but I wouldn't have liked to have been on my own in this area at any time of day. Strange for a business district.
