I recently went to the IRA conference in Atlanta and booked with the Baymont through the conference facilitators. I was concerned because the rooms opened onto balconies, but I wanted to stay 6 nights so I booked here for the price. The stay was excellent. I didn't hear noise at night, I had a nice view of the city, the continental breakfast was great, free Internet, great fitness center, easy access to sights, restaurants, and attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly. Close to the expressway, but no traffic noise. There was always an attendant in the parking lot and security was visable in the hotel. I did not use the pool but it looked clean. No hotel restaurant but there is one in the attached Wyndam Hotel and many places deliver to the Baymont. There is a fee for parking but I didn't mind because of the room price. The next time I'm in Atlanta I would not hesitate to stay at the Baymont again.

Everyone should beware of leaving there Credit Card with this hotel for "incidentals", I stayed there 2 Saturday nights in a row. I never once picked up their phone or turned the TV on! I had over 43.00 of unexplained charges on my card. And as of today (which it has been several weeks) the hotel nor Corporate Baymont has not refunded this charge, or been able to explain where it came from. At first I was told I would be credited with in 10 business days, now that is long past and I have been told I would recieve a check in "a few" weeks. I will never stay at this hotel again! Plus both times I checked, walked all the way around to the back side of the hotel, my keys did not work. I had to go all the way back to the front desk to be changed rooms!

Do not be fooled by the pictures. I stayed at this property for 3 nights. The carpet is filthy, the bathroom had hair on the floor and in the tub. This hotel is more like a 2 star hotel. I did not feel safe at this hotel at all as a single business woman. The only bright side was the continental breakfast in the morning which was above average. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites while attending the American Society of Criminology meetings. While the hotel was nice enough, apparently they are employing thieves and could care less about it. Before arriving at the hotel I received an engraved Ipod Touch as a PhD graduation gift. I never used it and hid it inside my suitcase. Imagine my surprise when I returned home (via car, not plane as the hotel keeps insinuating) and found that I was now the proud owner of an EMPTY Ipod Touch box! As a woman staying alone in a large city I find it completely violating that someone employed by Baymont entered my room, looted through my suitcase, and stole my possessions. What is even more irritating is the hotel's response. For some reason they feel it is not their problem since I had already checked out. I had no idea I was required to thoroughly inspect my belongings before checking out!! While I have been professional in my dealings with them, they have never returned my phone calls. Find a better place to stay!!!
