What a nice surprise. I am always wary about Best Western hotels, if they are good there good and if they are bad there awful. ( see my verdict on B W Nashville). If you are on a budget then we found this one to be a winner.
As we opened the door of our third floor room my wife said to me I bet the room is small as it is an inner city hotel. She was wrong this time the suite consisted of two floors. The lower was like a lounge but included a fridge freezer, micro wave, cooker, dishwasher and cutlery. There was a sofa bed and table and chairs as well as a television. There was a storage cupboard big enough to hold a party in. From the lounge a staircase took you up to the en suite bedroom. Again plenty of cupboard space and another television. The only negative was the size of the bathroom, compared to the room outside it was a little small with only a shower.
The hotel was clean and the room probably could have done with a little decorating but that was only a minor point.
There is a self parking garage on site that has a daily charge. It is based on a first come first serve basis and there is valet parking for any overflow.
A self service complimentary breakfast is vailable which served a hot and cold breakfast selection that catered for all tastes.
The hotel is situated about two blocks from the main highway and close to the Margaret Mitchell house. There is a subway station close by to take you into all of Atlanta and there is a lot of it and although the city spreads for miles it feels homely.
My only real moan about this hotel, and it is common to a number of chain hotels in America, but why is there only one elevator?
