Finally , a hotel that is designed for the frequent traveller in mind.The design is a spacious , comfortable hotel with a waterfall in the lobby and at the pool. The room seemed oversized , with a great Television and it seems like one of those commercials where you want to touch the screen to see if it is real or not! The beds are everything the previous reviewer said, the best sleep I ever had in a hotel.
The hotel has a local restaurant chain called Marlowe's run the restaurant in the hotel.The food is just what travellers are looking for. This is really serious bar food ( and the drinks are at the same level!) Try the Firecracker Shrimp for an appetizer and the Black and Blue Salad for an entree. Surf and Turf for the new millenium.
I used to fight the crowds on Monday mornings at the airports and then drive through downtown out to my work in Decatur. Now that I have found the new Doubletree at Northlake , I am going to come in on Sunday night and enjoy a great dinner at Marlowe's and sleep in luxury on Monday mornings!!!
