This is an OK place to stay if you're shopping at the Galleria if you must, but would recommend looking elsewhere. The location is great, the price is good and you get a coupon each day you stay for a nearby restaurant, so our breakfast came to about $5 each day with the coupons taken into account. It was a nice treat.
Unfortunately the hotel wasn't such a treat. The front desk staff seemed unprofessional and uninterested, at first I didn't know if they were even working there.
Aside from that, the walls are paper thin. Trust me, we heard everything going on next door. Then about 2:30am, the alarm clock next door went off for 10 minutes, I called front desk and asked them to look into it since it woke me up. They said they'd be right up. 30 minutes later, the alarm was still going off.
The room was extremely warm the entire stay. We even turned off the heat all night (in December!) and still were quite warm in the morning.
Our shower was stuck in the off position, had to have the manager come to jerk it into place for us. Then, when we did get water it was freezing cold.
On the good side, it was cheap and clean. Could do worse, but could do better.
