We just returned from a trip to Waikiki & Kauai. We spent 3 nights at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk and we were not dissappointed. The location is great, just a very short walk to the beach. The new beach walk is very nice with lots of shopping and restaurants. We had no problems with noise as others have mentioned. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Embassy Suites is always my kids favorite because of breakfast and "Happy Hour". We were very pleased with the breakfast (lots of really good pineapple!) and in the evening Mai Tais and "all the Shirley Temple's you can drink!" We would definitely stay here again.

“Good location”

Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk

We spent a week at the Embassy Suites in a one-bedroom suite. The location is far better than most--just across the street and down a short walkway to the beach. Just down the hallway from the registration desk are several shops and fun eateries.

The room was fine but a little smaller than other Embassy Suites we've stayed in. One pleasant surpise was that our city view room had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. The courtesy breakfast was hit with the kids, offering pancakes, french toast, potatoes, omlets, scambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and breads every day. The kids loved the pool, which was very clean, with a little shallow area just right for our young ones. The hotel has a coin laundry facility, which after talking around, I found was rare for Waikiki.

Our main disappointment with the hotel was the lackluster housekeeping. Several days there was still a lot of sand on the bathroom floor after "cleaning". OUr kids made some big smudges on the coffee table and sliding glass door on the second day that were never removed.

Overall though, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this hotel if you need the space offered by a suite.

“Great value”

We just returned from a trip to Oahu and Maui. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk for three nights. The service was excellent after enduring an 11 hour flight. Valet took care of the car...bellhops at the ready for your luggage...sit down check in with fresh juice.

The room was very spacious and clean. While there was not much of a view from the lanai(s)...there were two...they were very private.

We were on a family vacation with two kids so the comp. breakfast was awesome. The omelets were wonderful. We also took advantage of the evening managers reception which was nice as well...appetizers, free beverages and entertainment in the pool area.

The concierge was very helpful for directions and dinner recommendations.

The location was good...a block away from the beach and beachwalk and an ABC Store just down the block!

If we have an opportunity to return to Oahu, we would definitely stay at the Embassy Suites again.

Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff. Only complaint I got is the construccion near the hotel. Noise all day. There is a lot of shops near the hotel and my favorite restaurant" Cheese Cake Factory".

EMBASSY SUITES BEACHWALK - like no other Embassy Suites we’ve ever stayed at.
The entire Beachwalk/Lewers neighborhood in the heart of Waikiki has been demolished and REBORN, and it’s star attraction in the brand new Embassy Suites Waikiki Beachwalk. The suites are beautifully decorated in tasteful island style for the new millenium. There’s a flat screen TV in all rooms [not the baths, though] , kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker and food prep area. The baths are beautiful with lots of under-sink storage and quality soaps, shampoo and the like. Buffet breakfast with omlette station is included, as are afternoon drinks and pupus by the pool with entertainment. The business center has free computer access and next to it, the fitness center is adequately equipped for everyone except maybe the professional bodybuilder. On site, much to our delight and also to that of the elegant Halekulani across the street, is ROY’S signature restaurant, and an instant local hit as the coolest new Waikiki hangout, the Yard House. Two stories of shopping adventures onsite. AND both a Coffee Bean and a Starbucks across the street? Perfect.
