Fantastic hotel set in a huge garden right in front of the sea. We were guestes at the Rasa wing and able to use all the resort's facilities. There are 2 big pools (one of them with airpool and whirlpool area), tennis courts and even a three holes green!

Superb restaurants and excellent breakfast buffet.
The Resort location is also very close to the the Feringgi town with its "on mile market".

We had a premier room in the Rasa Wing and loved it.

the room was huge, well equipped and very comfortable. the bathroom was outstanding with not only 2 basins but also a huge shower with 3 heads so that 2 people could shower together in comfort.

The service was superb. requests could be phoned through to a customer service centre who would come back to you later to check that you were satisfied with the action taken.

the only downside to the 7 day holiday was that one of our suitcases was forced open between KL and Penang although nothing was taken. When we collected the same luggage at Bangkok airport having flown from Penang both of our suitcases had been broken into, combination locks removed and the contents rifled. As far as we know nothing was stolen mainly because there was nothing of intrinsic value in either case. We strongly suspect that the attempted theft and damage to our cases occurred at Penang airport. We flew with a budget airline.

This place is one of those rare hotels which is every bit as good as it should be. We paid the extra for the garden wing executive level which meant we had a superb room with our own outdoor marble bath and a butler to come and run it for us 24 hours a day! We wouldn't want to be pampered like this all the time but it is an incredible experience to see just how good a hotel can be with the right investment, ethos and training.

The staff can't do enough for you, they even sewed up a paid of my jeans which had a rip without charge. Included in our deal was some clothes cleaning, breakfast, access to the executive lounge where you have free use of their laptops, free drinks including (real) champagne and delicious afternoon tea. I think we paid about £140 a night which is a lot for Malaysia but I don't begrudge a penny of it.

We booked, the Rasa hill view room, but were upgraded to Premeir room upon our arrival, free of charge. This was a very nice gesture by the hotel indeed.
Overall, the service was great. Although sometimes i did feel that europeans got more service/attention than asians/indians, which was disappointing, since we all pay the same money.
not highly recommended for families, as there is not much activity for children in the resort, there is an adventure paid play area you can take your children to.
Overall, this hotel will suit couples, or elderly people.
Beautiful gardens, clean swimming pools and overall great service, which every 5-star restaurant should be.
