I am sure it is hard to have a bad time in Belize no matter where you go, but I was more than impressed with Hamanasi. Their staff truly enjoy their job of helping meet whatever needs you have during your stay. Everyone was very genuinely friendly and welcoming, which helps visitors relax and feel at home as soon as they arrive. To me this made the trip top notch....the adventures we went on for our day trips were led by guides who answered all your questions and went out of their way to make sure everyone could experience what they came to see. They took care of everything and made it look easy!

Hamanasi is amazing!!! My wife and i just returned from our honeymoon here last week. This resort is top-notch! Everything you could need is convenient and easily provided for you. As mentioned in the previous review, the staff here is really something special. Everyone is so great. All helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food here is excellent. We really found ourselves really looking forward to our meals. The menu is also extremely vegetarian friendly, which made my wife incredibly happy. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. We stayed in the beach-front honeymoon sweet for half our stay and a treehouse for the other. Both rooms were gorgeous and had their own unique qualities. Overall, we preferred the honeymoon suite with the sweet porch and ocean breeze. The tours and activities, which was the main reason we chose Hamanasi, are fantastic! Our favorite inland tours were the Mayflower jungle waterfall hike, Cave Tubing and the Mayan ruins tour. We didn't care for the Monkey River tour so much. While we did see some cool stuff, crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys and manatees...the bugs on this tour we're ruthless. We aren't divers, but the barrier reef snokeling was unbelieveable. They amount of coral, fish and marine life we saw in 1/2 a day was insane. Sting rays, baracuda, a nurse shark and all the tropical reef fish you could imagine in abundance. Our guide Elmer, was terrific. He pointed out so much that we probably would've missed if not for him. All of the guides were great, our favorite being Golden. He was outstanding. All in all it was a truly amazing trip, thanks to Hamanasi and the wonderful people who work here!!

We had a perfect honeymoon at Hamanasi - it was a beautiful resort with impeccable service, wonderful adventures, knowledgeable staff, and amazing food! We would recommend it without reservation to anyone seeking a purely relaxing, fun, and blissful vacation!

Was looking for something different and decided to select Hamansi after seeing the variety of activities and positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Regardless, we were a bit nervous when we felt like we had left civilization several hours previous.

Expectations were high, but were pretty much exceeded in all cases. The food was good, not great. The rooms and facilities were nice. The inland activities were unique and fun, and the snorkeling and diving outstanding. All of the above would have resulted in a good vacation by themselves, but the staff at Hamansi is what really made the whole thing special. My family of four felt welcomed and amongst friends. The atmosphere just got better each day. Perhaps it has something to do with the culture of Belize, but the great service and smiles appeared genuine, without exception.

While off the beaten path and not without its fair share of bugs, I couldn't provide a higher recommendation. The whole experience was tremendous. I can also say that my wife, my 15 year old daughter, and 12 year old son all endorsed my comments.
