You are paying for the view... but what a view! This hotel looks exactly like the pictures on the hotel website. The staff were friendly - especially at the front desk. Room was clean but showers were a bit small. Breakfast was ok. We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our vacation to Greece. It was a great way to end our trip. Extras included a complimentary bottle of wine, fruit tray, and because our stay was 4 nights we were also treated to a ride on their sailboat. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Fira. Still within walking distance (in my opinion) but a bit more of a hike. However, there is really no need to leave this area. The infiniti pool is awesome, and there are several restaurants a short walk away. The only drawback is that you will be doing a lot of stairclimbing.... but that is normal in Santorini.

Everyone will tell you about the sunsets and yes they are quite something,especially if your staying at the Honeymoon Villas.
We stayed in a traditional villa which was comfortable the only problem was my wife is a ceoliac(allergic to gluten , wheat ect)
and the kitchen was basic to say the least.
We paid for a microwave which did help.
Thira (the capital)is great to wonder around and if you like bling then this is definately the place to be.
Watch out for the irish pub as you will pay 8 euros for a Murphys!!!!
a visit to oie is recomended especially around sunset.

It's all about the view! Excellent location, for the view, and also because we enjoyed being a bit away from the craziness of Fira. Yes, there are lots of stairs. Yes, the room is just of average size. But the view!! As others have stated, the pictures give an accurate portrayal of the property. Our only caution is that we picked this property because we wanted a private balconey, and even though it was advertised as every room having one, this was definitely not the case. Some were side by side, some had a public walkway in front of them (your 'balcony' has a few feet high wall around it). Luckily, our balcony was quite private, right on the caldera. If this is important to you, ask for room #4, but beware that it is the furthest room from the pool and breakfast room--you will get your exercise! We really enjoyed the 'free' sail but be aware that you have to pay for transportation to the dock (12E) and you also have to pay for insurance (10E). The pool is great but cold! (no pools are heated)

This is the place where everyone stops by and takes a picture of the property. We had a wonderful stay in one of the cave rooms. The staff is very helpful. The only issue is hard beds but that is common in Greece. I'd definately stay here again.
