The place is great. Although it doenst have a pool you can throw a rock into the ocean from the front gate, you are that close.

Although luquillo is a bit "rough around the edges", this place and people all around make it a great place to visit. There really isnt much to do at the hotel, but all around you got places and things to see and do.

Tips:
Visit the bar on the same street as luquillo, on the weekend the locals race their horses on the street.

Listen to their advice on what and where to go...
They definetly dont stray you wrong. BTW there's bigger hotels to stay at but this place seemed to be more centrally located and offered great service.

What a wonderful start to my Puerto Rican vacation. Imagine: welcoming smiles, luggage assistance, the ocean in full view in the front, and frogs loadly croaking in the back, breakfast cooked to order - this is Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn.

We stayed at the Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn recently with a large group, attending a destination wedding. We had a wonderful time, and were more than satisfied with the accommodations. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner and fan in the room provided plenty of cool escape from the hot sun, but there was almost always a wonderful breeze from the ocean. Our room had a fabulous view of the ocean which was directly across the street, with nothing to block our view. There was a large Iguana sleeping in a beautiful large palm tree outside the room, as well as a few hammocks outside which we took advantage of. There was a warm breakfast each morning, along with continental selections. It was consistently delicious, and served with a smile. There was a large patio for hanging out with the rest of our group and enjoying the view. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel highly to family and friends.

A great guest house right on Luquillo Beach just east of San Juan Puerto Rico. Each room has a small balcony with a view of the ocean.The owners were extremely accommodating to the guests and a real breakfast was served on the patio each morning. Parking is secured for no extra price. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is a little hard to find as you ramble down winding streets in Luquillo Beach but worth the effort. Just don't book when a wedding is going on! It was noisy all night. A plus is that the inn is very close to Yunque Rain Forest( a must see) and an easy day trip from the inn. It would be a good family spot as well with easy beach access .
