Just returned from a week at the Caleta Palace. Check in very quick and easy, we had access to our room immediately. Room itself was great - absolutely huge and very clean.

Staff at the hotel were nice enough - limited English spoke but language barrier never a problem as long as you were pleasant.

Food was somewhat hit & miss. Odd things were not cooked fully & there were some odd selections on the menu such as pigs trotters & neck of lamb. For me this was not a problem but didn't strike me as normal Spanish tourist food!

Main criticism of the Caleta Palace was it's guests. Several English guests were very rude & ignorant towards the staff. For the second half of our stay the hotel was filled with 4 coach loads of Spanish boys. We were then kept awake until 4am on 3 nights whilst they caused chaos. Complaints were made to the hotel reception but nothing done.

Overall I would have no hesitation in going back to the hotel, I would just hope for nicer guests on our next stay!

have just came back worst holiday ever staff not interested in english people would go as far as saying they hated all british visitors, no reps no contact number to get hold of one,not allowed to get 2 drinks at bar only one so every couple had to get one each so everyone had to go in pairs,they would not even let a lady who took 2 disabled people on holiday get them a drink she had to push them up one at a time to get them a drink and then go a third time to get her own. no shop or hairdressers.stood at reception waiting to speak to some one and they served all spanish people that came up afterwards when complained they shouted they did not intend to help us, and carried on shouting across foyer after we gave up and went away.seemed to think we were getting everything for nothing even though we had already payed for the services

the staff here are very rude,they ignore you if possible,when you complain it gets worse . we wanted a relaxing time as my husband is partly disabled,we didnt arrive untill 12.15at night, they had now idea who we wereand spent one hour finding us a room,which was terrible,, when i asked for a little water for husbands tablets they refused.saying bar was closed. things did get a little better next daythey gave the room we should of had night before,but staff didnt know how to use computor ,, it was only one drink per person, hence i had to return to bar twice to get my spouse his drink ,i did try to speak there language so i was not rude back if your british do not go to this hotel , if your spanish you will have a wonderful time,, and all inclusive doesnt mean that,,,check first,,,,oh and there are no reps available,we were there a week and we only had two nights of entertainment ,wont go back and advise others not to,

lovely hotel-food great-fabulous staff rerally friendly and helpful-Hotel is right on the beach-had a lovely week
