My wife and I spent a week at Nature's Paradise in April. We stayed in the Banana Cottage. The cottage was spacious, and had everything we needed for the week. Dave and Wanda were great host and make our stay that much more enjoyable. Dave's day trip down the coast was fun, and very informative. I would highly recommend it. Also, we throughly enjoyed the Jip Line trip in the rain forrest. The rain forrest is absolutely beautiful. I must warn you that the driving on St. Lucia can take a little getting use to, but it is a must to rent a car if you are staying at Nature's Paradise.
Marigot Bay has some very nice resturants, shops, grocery store, bank, and water facilities that are very easy to get to. The drive up and down the hill was very bumpy, and an adventure in itself, but if you look at it as part of the fun, it's not too bad...should not be a reason for passing up a stay there.
One of the highlights of the week was renting a Kayak in Marigot Bay and traveling down the coast to Anse le Ray. I stopped at the beach that you see below from the pool and was the only person there. We also spent a few afternoons by the pool, and had it all to ourselves. The view from here is amazing.
All in all,had a fantastic week in St. Lucia...thank you Dave and Wanda.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Coconut room for 6 nights in late May. This was a very late booking (2 days!), and David was very accommodating.
The room itself was fairly basic, although we had everything we needed (big fridge and freezer, ceiling and portable fan, comfy bed and a nice sized shower). We had a peek at the cottages and they looked beautiful, with incredible views. Perfect for honeymooners. I loved the pool area, although it's not designed for swimming laps (which I had no intention of doing...).

We had initially not arranged a car but it really is ESSENTIAL if you wish to see any of the island. The hotel itself is on a very steep hill, with a 'rural' track leading up (which is nice as it keeps everyone else out!). Although very isolated, there are brilliant facilities in Marigot Bay (supermarket, bank, cafe, restaurants, diving etc...) which is a 10 minute walk down (although a 30 minute walk UP!).

As for St Lucia, we dived with Dive Fair Helen (in Marigot Bay), who were wonderful, and really looked after us. We did David's Soufriere Tour (volcano, botanical gardens etc) which is worth a day. We also went to the Rainforest Tram, which is expensive but definately worth it. Pigeon Island was probably our favourite day, especially if you have an interest in the colonial history of the island.

Overall, we had a wonderful week. If I were to recommend it, I would definately recommend booking early enough to secure a cottage, especially as that gives the option of cooking an evening meal.

My husband and I stayed at Nature's Paradise for five days in May. The grounds at the cottages are simply magnificent. David and Wanda have worked hard to carve out a little piece of paradise for others to enjoy. The cottage was well furnished and comfortable. The setting was very quiet and the view from our deck of the Caribbean was spectacular! The road up to the property is a little steep and bumpy but well worth the trip as you "get away" from any sort of crowds. We had the pool all to ourselves and found the breakfast to be most enjoyable as we visited with David and Wanda about St. Lucia.

We took David's Eco tour to the volcano, botanical gardens, lunch at Vadera and a swim at a very quaint and private hot springs. David is a wonderful tour guide and host. He was pleasant to talk to and so knowledgable about the island, the people and the plants. I would highly recommend this tour.

We loved our time in St. Lucia. The people are so friendly and helpful and our time spent at Nature's paraide was just Perfect.

We loved our expierence at Natures Paradise. We were looking for a romantic spot to spend our Honeymoon. We are in our 50's and we are expierenced travelers, having been to many countries
in the past few years. Natures Paradise was just what we were looking for and it was perfect in every way. David and Wanda were wonderful host who made our trip so much more enjoyable. They were helpful in everyway and they serve a wonderful breakfast each morning. The view from the porch of our cottage was breathtaking. You couldn't get this kind of view and service from a big resort, they make you feel special and that's exactly what we felt while staying there.

“The most ideal spot on the planet”

Has it really been 20 years??? It hardly seems possible - how do you mark a milestone such as this - Nature's paradise was the most ideal spot on the planet for us - the extraordinary natural beauty of the island - echoed in the tropical paradise that I like to think of as Wanda's Garden - We stayed in the Avacado cottage with breath taking views of the bay and sunsets painted by seraphim - Our cottage was comfortable and kept impeccably - we received clean linens every other day - Fresh mangos greeted us every morning at the main house for breakfast - together with breads and cheeses - the most delish coffee you will ever taste - when your day's adventures are planned - David and Wanda will advise and give you directions to anything you may want to do - The weather was perfect and we had no issues with bugs or mosquitos - summer in Buffalo is worse - On the morning we were leaving the sky was a bit overcast and I commented to my husband that even the island was sad we were leaving- All our best to David and Wanda - your hosts at Nature's Paradise - Expect to feel like you are visiting long time friends - that is just how gregarious and generous of spirt David and Wanda are - They truly make you feel at home - we took the infamous Nature Dave's Soufiere Adventure - I cannot recommend this excursion highly enough - Take it early in your holiday and get a very comprehensive overview of island culture and geography - with the company of someone who has a passion and understanding of both - We found Marigot bay to be very comfortable and safe - the local restaurants are all excellent - the highlight of our vacation was a full day sail on a privately cartered sailboat - we chartered through Bateau Mygo, David made all of the arrangements for us - Glenn and Enya made our 20th anniversary outstanding - If you are interested in such an excursion, I would recommend them both as a delightful and skilled crew to pilot a day you will never forget. We shared the property with just two other couples - all of us learned about nature's paradise from trip advisor
