We spent 4 very enjoyable days at the Mykonos Grand in June. A great welcome, lovely superior room with sea view, very modern and recently refitted. Very good breakfasts and dinner, great location on the "Shirley Valentine" beach. Staff very friendly and helpful, and easy to get a taxi the 10 minutes to Mykonos. A very comfortable resort hotel, modern and comfortable, and well located to combine a quiet resort holiday with some time in Mykonos Town. The taverna on the beach is a nice option for lunch just 2 minutes walk along the beach from the hotel, and Aqua restaurant in Mykonos Town is a great place to have dinner watching the sunset.

Just returned home to Marblehead, MA from the Mykonos Grand (and Tzekos Villas in Santorini). The property and the staff at the Mykonos Grand far exceeded any expectation we had! From the moment we checked in to the moment we departed we received nothing less than warmth, professionalism and an enormous desire to please from each staff member. They truly loved their jobs and it showed. The pool, the spa, our sea view room, the entire facility was dream-like. Taxis in and out of town were very easy, about 6 euro each way. We spent days at the Mykonos Grand and evenings shopping, drinking and eating in town. Amazing experience! We will be repeat customers to the Mykonos Grand for certain. A special thank you to Efi at the front desk and Giorgos at the pool!!!

We stayed in a suite with a private pool. The hotel also has a private beach and a wonderful public pool with plenty of lounge areas. The wait staff will even come down to the private beach to bring you drinks or food. The views are impecable as are the rooms and amenities.

We had a slow draining shower, but the cleaning staff was there within 2 minutes and the management was there within 5 offering us a free upgrade to a two bedroom suite with a private pool. We decided to stay and when we got back from dinner we had complementary Champagne and fruit in our room.

We were supposed to catch the middle of a cruise and our transfer did not pick us up and the manager had the hotel transport us to the police station and called ahead to have the person who could stamp our passport meet us at 9:15 at night and then take us to the port calling the cruise line to let them know we were late. If we had missed the cruise, it would have completely destroyed our travel plans, but my husband said that was okay if we could stay at the Mykonos Grand.

FYI: Book your spa services before your arrival to ensure you can get what you want. Also, most private balconies in Mykonos and Santorini have people above or to the side who can see onto your private balcony.

We just had 2 weeks in the cyclades with 3 islands (Mykonos, Paros and Santorini) and this was our first stay.

The hotel is part of the SLHW group and has just completed some refurbishments: lobby and bar. We liked the design of the hotel and our room (we had a seaview double room, N°222) which was on the complete right side of the hotel (some water pressure problems in the shower in the morning…minor).


PROS:
- Hotel far from the “noise” of the main city;
- Very comfortable hotel;
- Staff very friendly and helpful, all with correct English;
- Bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated;
- Nice swimming pool area;
- Restaurant at night;


CONS:
- Beach is rather small;
- Some “beat” music around the swimming pool;
- Shuttle bus missing from Hotel to town;

RESTAURANTS:
- all quite expensive but we has great moments at Bourazza and Nikos. The hotel restaurant is ok but consider 150€ for two for diner.


We recommend this hotel as we really enjoyed it ourselves.
