The day trip to Todos Santos is one of the most popular trips in the area. The drive is through the baja desert, with views of the Pacific along the way. Todos Santos is a charming village, with some wonderful restaurants and shopping. It is developing into quite an art colony, with many Ex-pats in residence. The famed Hotel California is one of the popular spots for taking pictures, in spite of the ongoing dispute over the Eagles actually writing about it. Be sure to start back to Cabo before dark, as night driving in Mexico isn't advisable, due to the fact that the livestock such as cows and pigs tend to 'nest' on the roads at night. And for a meal that is the highlight of any  trip to Todos Santos, try the Cafe Santa Fe. The ambiance is as delightful as the meal is delicious!
