 The main tourist info office in Montreal is facing the Dominion Park between René-Lévesque and Sainte-Catherine Streets, just West of the Metcalf intersection.  There is information not only about Montreal, but all of Quebec.  Nearest subway station is Peel.  It is within walking distance of many hotels, including the Sheraton, Queen Elizabeth and Chateau Champlain.
