Tourists to Huelva have a few options when it comes to getting around while in the city.
A good way of getting around the city of Huelva is by using the urban bus system. There are nine bus lines running throughout the city. Route and timetable information can be found at either the main bus station in the city center, or at bus stops. Fares are to be paid to the driver upon boarding the bus.
The other option for getting around within the city (aside from walking) is to take a taxi. The best place to get a taxi is either at one of the taxi stands, located on Calle Plus Ultra, or outside of the railway station. Calling ahead to arrange for a pickup is another good option. Most hotels will be happy to do this for their customers. Fares are based on standardized meters, which will rise during certain hours of the day (late at night or during a siesta) and during public holidays.
