The highlights of his trip to the Faroes include spying abseiling sheep at the Vestmannabjorgini (the Vestmanna Bird Cliffs), eating puffins for dinner at the Hotel Hafnia, and trying to avoid taking part in the Faroese Chain Dance, a local version of the hokey-cokey. The author clearly loves the Faroes, and this helps make for an absorbing chapter.
