This is strictly a marine conserved area around all the southern coast of the island. Conservation has been raised due to the indiscriminate fishing done by the local community, to due to lack of conservation education.

The area is beautifull arranged with several islands, bays and sandbanks.

Tourists can take day trips around the island going for better snorkelling sites with colourfull fish and corals,cruising the islands,sporting dolphins and sailing.

It is a very interesting place to visit while in Zanzibar.
