For a first time visit to Singapore take in the view at the New Asia Bar on the top floor of Swissotel The Stamford at Raffles City as a must-do nightlife destination. It is on the 71st and 72nd floors and offers great views of Singapore. The place is also quite popular with locals and foreigners alike. The drinks aren't exactly cheap but the view is worth the money unless you plan on getting seriously drunk, in which case you better head to a cheaper place. The dress code is smart-casual, jeans are ok, but better leave the shorts and trekking sandals at home.
