Many restaurants in the Vitacura area have outdoor dining.  From the Holiday Inn Express or the Intercontinental Hotel, it is a short walk to all.  It is comfortable and seemingly safe to walk the area.  Several banks with ATM's assist in getting cash. One noteable restautant is Don Carlos Argentine Steak House.  Don't be fooled by the name the chicken is excellent.
