We are a family with two young children. Before our kids, we travelled a lot, mostly on a small budget and with as little planning as possible. When we became parents, we were determined not to give up and just spend three weeks each summer in a tent in France, as most Dutch people seem to do. Instead, we want to keep going to new places and give our kids a taste for travel as well as some lasting memories and an open mind towards other cultures. We try to find freedom and adventure but avoid risks (so, no,we're not gonna take them on that jungle hike through Sierra Leone). Thailand and the USofA are two favorite destinations for us.
