We are a couple who worked really really hard and retired early. How did we do it? Not having any kids (aka moneysuckers) helped this become a reality. We are now living off our pension and portfolio and traveling the world on a budget. 20 years in the military, then a few years in the civilian sector, now nothing but pure freedom.
