They say that "Travel Broadens the Mind" (not to mention the backside after sitting in planes and buses for hours on end) and never a truer word was spoken.

My wife and I first travelled together in 1979 when we visited my Father in England who I had not seen for over 20 years and this was the beginning of many overseas trips as well as visits throughout our country of Australia.

So far we have visited 218 cities across Australia and overseas including London, Paris, Marseilles, Bombay, Singapore, Kualar Lumpur, Penang, Tokyo, Thailand, Shanghai, Xian and Beijing. I have also visited Dubai, Amman, Aquaba, Petra, Medaba, Istanbul, Iskenderun, Gallipoli, Mersin, Gazientep, Zakho, Dohuk, Baghdad, Um Qasr, Babylon, Ar'Ar, Vung Tau, Saigon and one or two other places that I would rather forget.

Our next trips will include Hong Kong, and hopefully a river cruise through Europe (if money permits). We both enjoy seeing different cultures and meeting different people.
