I travel a lot on business which only gives me a taste of places to come back to and visit. I much prefer being there on holiday- with my husband. The children are all too grown up now and have stopped coming with us on holiday- which I thought was a shame at first but surprising how quickly you get to prefer it that way! We're independent travellers- went twice on tours and felt a bit hemmed in by them- I prefer we set the pace. I sometimes want a holiday to be nothing but eat, sleep, drink, read, swim. Little chance with my husband who gets ants in his pants after sitting on a deck chair for more than 10 minutes! I want to go everywhere and see everything ....
